I don't think you need to go that heavy on the black paint on the corners. We use a medium to dark brown spray paint. You just want to make the box look smaller from a distance, not call attention to the corners. The umbrella looks great and being able to turn the box with the umbrellas in place really helps. Great job.

Depending on how much rehearsal is required with the box, a box usually lasts anywhere from 15-20 uses. That would be both rehearsals and shows.

Hey Luke, how did those Wal-Mart umbrellas work for you? And have you performed the Voodoo Box in public yet?

I placed the order and they should be in any time. I bought one that they had there for measurements and it seems fine.
