That would be a hell of a trick, I'll say that.

This effect was created using both Adobe AfterEffects and Blender Software.
Believe it or not, there is much room for improvement on the work,
but this was a nice trail run.

That was fun to watch and is an interesting combination of clever editing of people looking amazed at other things and some amazing special effects.
A friend sent this clip to me to ask my opinion on how it was done.
Making it a street performance makes it look more amazing.

Oh man....if there was really a way to do that! Mabye I need to go see "Hugo" again!

Now there's inspiration. Could be done (hmmmmm) with a strangely strung deck and a puppet rig. Clever after effects though.
Now, if one could do it for real, it would get your name up in lights! Maybe someone here is already working on it?

Does anyone recognize that chap in the video?

It wasn't that convincing but the potential effect is amazing. I actually had a similar idea a while ago but couldn't figure out a good method.

Gazzo will be selling this effect next month at Penguin Magic.

If Gazzo sells it, then three things are sure to happen:
1. Everyone on the Café will praise it,
2. Paddy will judge on price and balk at it, and
3. I will buy it.

Riffraff, I only judge on price when the quality does not match the price. I have praised Jimmy Talksalot's material and even mentioned they were worth much more than what he charges.
