I've heard only good things about them, Paul is ever the professional so give them a go.
You could always email him, his email is on his website and ask a few questions, I've always found him happy to help. Also he is performing in Edinburgh at the moment, so if your up there, he'd no doubt be happy to help! |

I attended the Master Class in Chicago, and bought the inner secrets disc.
He gives NOTHING away on the DVD and after doing some investigative work on things he said during the master class, cannot give it my recommendation either. The class was entertaining, but there were parts that were total fabrications. I was extremely disappointed from an ethical standpoint. |

Well, I have 2 of his new DVD's and they are not very good. If they came out 10 years ago, they would have been pretty good. But in 2003, they are very poor. Mike Ammar's last 2 DVD's on begining magic were so good, that the Daniels one's are dull.

Great title - Inner secrets of Professional Magic - but the content came nowhere close to the hype. The DVD contains a few bar-style rubber band or puzzle tricks, a section on forcing a card, folding banknotes, double lifts, techniques yes, but no inner secrets to my mind.
The location chosen and the way the material is presented is very odd to say the least. Overall, Mr. Daniels gives little away.

I bought this from Paul's masterclass in Birmingham. I absolutely love it.
A few highlights. Boomerang band. Something everyone talks about who's seen him. CMH with a different presentation. Great for bars. The classic force, Never seen hinm miss, never looks "forced" Taught really well on here. Toss vanish and coin routine. Again well taught, with lots of little insights. I think every beginning, semi pro, and most pro magicians could learn a heck of a lot from this video. It should certainly be in every beginner's library. Cheers Andy
