Hey everyone,

Sorry I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Braden Murphy, son of Mark Murphy (Murphy’s Magic Supplies, Inc. President and Founder). I am happy to announce that I am the newest employee of Murphy’s Magic Supplies, Inc.

The position that I’ve taken with Murphy’s Magic Supplies, Inc., is the primary Moderator of Murphy’s Magic Community. My role is helping all members, as well as people interested in becoming members, navigate the site as easily as possible and implement suggestions and feedback that will ultimately improve the community so everyone can benefit.

I was born with CP. I am in an electric wheelchair. I have very recently turned 21. This is great for me as I am a very serious poker player. I will be going to Lake Tahoe next month for the world series of poker event. I have had a girlfriend now for over a year. My girlfriend and I will be moving in together at the begining of Febuary. I am a huge Sacramento Kings fan. I have season tickets.

Welcome to The Magic Café! I mostly lurk on here but had to post when I saw your thread. I think it's great that your contest is doing so well on the Murphy's Community site. I have a group on there (Magic SEO Marketing) and I love what you guys are doing. Building the next generation of magicians is the key to growing magic and you are trying to fill the void.

I know Brian from Murphy's (tell him Miles says hi next time you see him). I talked to him a couple of weeks ago and he mentioned a new moderator was starting. I had no idea it was the Founder's son. Nor did I know that you had CP. Both of those things could give you total justification to just coast through life and milk your situation. The fact that you are going to work for the family business and trying to develop the next generation of magicians is incredible. You should be proud of yourself. I am.

Anyway,the magic Café is pretty simple. There are so many great members on here with a lot of magic knowledge and questions seem to be answered right away. The search feature is next to impossible. I like to use this site:
