Some in-laws gave me a display case a while back...the kind that's a table and has a glass top to cover merchandise. I took the glass top off and voila, a magic table. I painted it, etc, and I'm going to replace the legs soon, too. with the top off, the surface is pretty much the same as card tables, and it has about a half inch lip, and the surface removes for a little bit of storage underneath. I will post some pictures here soon.

I am particularly interested in seeing some shots of this Brian. It is something I am playing around with in my head. Please post when you can.
Thanks.

Spotted an old wooden folding "card table" at a GoodWill store last week. It had an inlaid faux leather top that a quick test showed was removable. I immediately started getting some great ideas, but I was in the wrong vehicle to take it home. Went back the next day, and it was gone (sigh...)

Got any pictures yet? Smile
