I can't speak from personal experience on Monti's or Kenton's but for what it's worth, I really like the Poor Boy and perform it all the time. This doesn't directly answer the question, but wanted to let you know it is worth a consideration. I have the Jaspernese Tie and a few from Tarbell. Poor Boy works best for me.
So as far as the best goes, you need to try a couple of them and find what you like.

Hello everyone , I want to buy joes thumb tie dvd but can't find it anywhere , thumb tie.com doesn't seem to load and any other sites I've looked at all say it's out of stock , please help thanks

Try this place, he claims he has every item he advertises in stock. I would contact them to make sure, though.

Dears, are the spectators tight at the end able to untie by themselves or do they need assistance of any sort ?
