IBM Ring 341 is proud to present one of those rare and special magic moments! Bob Klase has won awards for both his stage and close up performances and now he has put together a lecture that will provide you with tools that allow you to take your magic to the next level. There is something here for beginners...finger flingers...mentalists...stage and parlor performers and lovers of Magic young and old.

Bob's taste in Magic is superb, his methodology is wonderfully devious and everything he patiently teaches can be a stand alone miracle or can be integrated into a longer routine. His lecture consists of plenty of entertaining "foolers" that are doable!

Bob Klase started performing magic in 1959 and over the last 50 years he has accumulated enough original ideas, and routines, as well as improvements to existing tricks and routines to put together a truly wonderful lecture. In the beginning some knowledgeable magicians in New Jersey asked Bob to present his lecture for their club. So he did. And then some magicians in Florida asked him to do his lecture for their club. So he did. Now some magicians in North Carolina have asked him to do the lecture for their club. So he will.

His lecture includes something for everyone. There's mental magic, magic with ropes, magic with silks, and magic with cards. There's also magic with coins, some ideas for magnets used with magic and some of his work with a memorized deck including his "tipping" of his memorized deck stack. And... his handling for The Linking Cards. Eric Appel (of the John McNicholas Magic Round Table in New Jersey) wrote:

"For those of you who know BOB and have seen his work, he will be doing some of your favorite close-up work as well as some stage and parlor items. And YES, that does include his beautiful Linking Card routine. For those who have never seen Bob perform this one, you are in for something of beauty."

We know that Monday night might not be the best night of the week for out-of-towners, but we believe that our luck in catching Bob Klase for this really special lecture is something that is worth the extra hassle involved in traveling here on a week night. The lecture will start at 6:30 PM and will end at 9:00 PM. That means that folks in Raleigh can get home around 10:30 and those in Greensboro and Wilmington just a bit later. So brighten up an otherwise hot and dull summer by giving yourself the serendipitous treat of this outstanding lecture!

[PS: I have seen Bob perform in both close-up and stage venues and he is fantastic. Having also seen his lecture I can truly say that his "Linking Cards" and his coins are worth the journey to Fayetteville...not to mention his stage and parlor effects!]
