Hi friends,
We have almost finished the classic cabinet of a cross between a Mismade and mummy's sarcophagus. Wereby the flat rectangular blades are inserted (4). Working:Costume and masks-for both. Magician is chained and shackled inside, blades passed. assistant walks around cabinet, change takes place-(secret panel) Question: since we would like to make it more transportable any ideas as to how we can make the panel to fold or alike, for packing. |

You can make an entire 4-sided cabinet fold flat.
Continuous hinges... one at each corner, and one each in the center of two opposite sides. The 4 at the corners fold inward. The 2 at the sides fold outward. If you don't understand, I can email you a quick diagram.

Thank you Mr. Baker.
That would hold true for the secret panel in back.Wich we added for the exchange. Continuous hinges throws me off honestly. |

Well, not knowing the exact design, it would be hard to do much more than speculate on how to best handle your problem. Ideally, most applications like this are not applications. They are not "applied" to the final product, but rather worked into the original design.
