Many years ago, I remember seeing a show on television with the title of "Monkey's Paw". Anyone else remember it?

@ Doug I don't know the construction method of the gaff. The seller claims he doesn't know what it is made out of either. I think that it has a providence of coming from the Coney Island USA/Sideshow by the Seashore Building, (soon to be a Nation Historic Place), and to have been own by Sideshow Legend Dick Z. makes this a highly collectible/displayable item.

@ Glenn I don'y remember the show, but there are many Monkey Paw stories out there, mostly cursed item stories.

Also, Dick Zigun confirmed this is is the Monkey Paw found by him in the Coney Island Sideshow building on the Coney Island USA Message Board.

I'm not sure whether Dick is selling it through Mark Frierson, or Mark is selling it for himself. The paw is being offered through Mark's seller ID.

"Famous Coney Island Monkey Paw"????? "Sideshow Legand"???????? This so called famouse monkey paw is more like a pile of monkey crap!!!!!! Not only is there NO historical signifacance, the piece looks more like a BAD halloween prop! As for Dick being a sideshow legand you need to not forget that Dick would NOT be where he is today if it wasnt for a real sideshow legand!!!! That being John Bradshaw!!!!!

A little over the top maybe... But I'll have to agree with Kevin here.

I really wish John would be given a little more credit for what he started.

Will,
I bet if Dick was selling his poop you would be excited! I mean if it came from a "GREAT" showman like Dick it must be a must have piece! Right?

@ Kevin, I would want Dick's poop if was 140 years-old and petrified OR if I could spin a story around. The stories sell to the rubes entertain me greatly!

Yeah it sold, hardly a huge payday though.
