I just wanted to update you all on the status of Ryans Father. I spoke with ryan a couple of times over the last few months and his Dad was responding well to his chemo and treatment. But alas, his health continued to decline. And Sadly his father passed away 8-09-2010 at 12:30am.

Ryan Zych (Gates) could use all of you well wishes. He truly loves magic, and magic truly loves him. Ryan was named my first sponsored Magician. He is a true Gentleman of magic, and a great young man. I lost my Father when I was 27 and I know exactly what he is going through. I will copy him on this post so he can read and respond.

The family of Edward Joseph Zych announces his passing on August 9, 2010 at the Juravinski Hospital. Our hearts are thankful for all the years that we shared his life. Beloved husband of 27 years to Mari Hearn-Zych. Loving father to Ryan and Mandi (Jeff). Loved son of Jeanne and predeceased by his father Edward Zych and brother John Smith. Ed is also survived by his brother Mickey Smith and sister Rosemarie Zych as well as nephews Jason Smith and Timothy Szczyry, and he will be sadly missed by the family pets Dexter and Minnie. Ed was retired from Stelco and was a dedicated Soccer coach with Haldimand Youth Soccer for over 20 years.


Funeral:

Visitation will be held in the Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. followed by a service in the chapel on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 11 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Caledonia. In lieu of flowers donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
