I'm sure this covered somewhere -I just can't find it.

When I do a search, I usually get a long list of interesting posts to check out. But if I click on one of them and read that post, I can't get back to the original list without instituting another search. What am I doing wrong (or not doing right)?

You're not doing anything wrong, that's just the way browsers handle form results like this. After I get to the search results page, I usually get around this problem by right clicking and opening the page I want to look at in a new window. Then close the new window when I'm done, and the search results are still there in the original window.
