Does anyone know a good source for methods and ideas concerning IT?

Michael Ammar's "Easy to Master Thread Miracles" Volume 1-3 DVD set are an excellent source to start.

Jon LeClair has a good book if you can find it called The Art of Invisible Thread. It's also on DVD.

You can't go wrong with Ammar. His DVDs are informative, fun, full of ideas, and give you great value for your money in terms of content and length.
Other than that, I have several suggestions for IET (rather than IT). The Losander DVDs cover a bunch of tricks with IET. His hookup is explained on all three of his DVDs, so any one will do well for you. Justin Miller's The Cloak has some good ideas for IET. They're limited to certain kinds of tricks, but those tricks are amazing. There is some good advice concerning lighting with regard to all IT & IET work on the Reflections DVD. But as an overall intro to IT and IET work, I'd stick with Ammar. Bill |
