I am finishing a project, and have unwittingly applied a bit too heavy a coat of spray paint on one area.

Is there a way to dry paint more quickly?

I'm circulating the air with a fan. The humidity, however, is not my friend.

Patience, however, is a virtue... Smile

If it's lacquer, hopefully this humidity won't cause it to blush. If it's enamel, be sure you give it PLENTY of time to cure, if you plan to add more coats. This humidity we are having in the Southeast really sucks. We get rain here everyday and temps in the high 80's. I believe you are stuck under the same bubble.

Have you considered a dehumidifier? I'd avoid too much heat to the surface. If the surface dries too fast the paint under it amy still be wet and you may get paint wrinkle or lift. No good fix for that.

I'm just going to be patient. I wanted to get it out of my garage, but it'll have to wait another few days.

I thought this thread was about something else. I prefer watching my lawn grow.
