Hello everyone,

I have recently ordered the zimmer egg. Honestly a very clever trick.
Yet, I have a BIG problem.

The gimmick is to be used with WHITE eggs, and here in Portugal we ONLY have brown eggs.

So, the only chance I have is to paint the egg in white, which I have found that is not so easy as it looks.

Iam wondering if anyone could give me some tips and ideas to make this process faster and easier.

I am not familar with the gimmick, but maybe you can paint it to match your eggs as this would likely be better since your audience would expect brown eggs. If they have the computer color matching service at your local paint store, bring in a brown egg and have them match the paint to it, You probably have to buy a quart (or similar size) at a minimum.

I would also try and get the paint in a spray. I know some places have the ability to put paint in a spray can. This will help keep down any brush marks.

Either that or buy some chickens that lay white eggs...
