Here are some that are about $2.25 each (8.99 for four)

Actually that link isn't great, because there is an $11.00 shipping charge. If you follow this link and scroll down past the coupons, there are a bunch of $1.00-$2.00 ties with free shipping. Because they're for practise, the pattern doesn't matter so much.

On that note, you can also buy a dozen ties here for 8.99 + 8.35 shipping.

here are a dozen practice ties for $4.76.

The link in the previous post would be best for performance ties because you can choose the patterns, but if design doesn't matter, these other links are a good bet!

Good Luck!

Scratch the dozen for $4.76, I read the ad wrong (maybe it's time I got some sleep!)

Willam; Assuming you need identical ties for the C&R, I found a great source on the streets of Manhattan. Sidewalk vendors hawk cheap ties ($2-$4 each) and you can talk them down for a quantity buy. My wife brought back a dozen from her last trip.

The drawback of course is that you have to travel to NY unless you know someone who lives there or will be visiting. Good luck.

Try garage sales, you can often get them for about a quarter each.
