Does anyone know of a good source for one-color spring flowers? You can get the multi-colors anywhere. I want one color like red or white with the green flowers that look like leaves. Any help would be appreciated.

Greetings...

After watching some McBride videos, I had the same question! I've looked in lots of catalogs (even from wholesalers) and don't see anyone listing single colors for spring flowers... just mixed bunches of various types and sizes. Where does McBride get his???

Joe, I don't know. I have even gone as far as to get a template off of the allmagicguide.com to try and make them myself, with mixed results. I don't know --maybe Abbott's can help.

If you go to allmagicguide.com, they have a whole article about making the Dekolta Flowers. That way, any color combo. is possible. It is in the Stage Magic section.

Air,

That is the site I was referring to in my thread. I went ahead and made some of the flowers per the instructions, and while they are nice and all one color, they are a bit thick and hard to keep together in a clip.

Just a thought. Why not try spraying these things with some spray paint that works on whatever material your flowers are made from?

I've seen stuff in craft stores that can be used on real flowers.

The Dekolta Flowers at allmagicguide.com work fine, it just takes a while to get them right, getting the right paper thickness and hinge springiness were the tricky bits. Once you've made a few they're great... and cheap!
