I recenty obtained a first edition of The Modern Conjuror by T. Nelson Downs, C. Lang Neil etc.

It depends on copyright date. The true first edition is the 1902 Lippincott which starts at a low of $40.00 and a high of $95.00. The other prices fluctuate from a low of $20.00 to a high of $220.00 sold at auction. So the true worth is what someone is willing to pay and how badly they want it. Rennie
