Hi all, I have the smaller version of this classic in the form of an E Book.
Does anyone have both the versions.. small and newer updated version that could tell me the difference between the two?

If you are speaking of the lybrary.com E Book version, then I think it is only missing a few chapters that are included in the hardcover book by Magic, Inc. As I understand it (I don't have the "e" version, just the hardback), it is the exact same book with the exact same illustrations, but you are missing 4 chapters (Just like the Dover paperback version).

If you want to know the exact contents of the Magic, Inc. hardcover (full version), visit http://magicref.tripod.com/books/bobocoin.htm . This page lists the contents by chapter. Hope you find this helpful!

I didn't know there was a difference, I have both, and have noticed nothing. Then again, I didn't read the ebook all the way through. maybe I will when I want my eyes to burn for a few hours.

The Magic Inc hardbound version has over 100 extra pages, hence the title, "The NEW Modern Coin Magic." The reason you don't get this in e-book form is that the copyright hasn't run out on it like it has on the original.

Hi Scott.... in your opinion, do the extra 100 pages warrant going for the larger version?

Where did you get the e-book version? I'd love to get a copy! I've got a Compaq Ipaq and would like to get as many magic books as possible in e-book form. Sources, anyone??

If your into coin magic, then the new version really is a must have!
The Paperback version contains 236 tricks.
The hard back version increased this total to 422 and adds another 156 illustrations!!

Bobo's is the CORE text in coin magic. It's worth every penny!

P.S I could be a little biased though, as I also happen to sell it. Smile

Best of luck with the magic
