There are other alternatives that may be cheaper and are a lot safer. Model railroaders use something called "bearmetal" that they melt in hot water and pour in model molds. I've used Field's metal, which is completely non-toxic and works great:

Hey canuck, I ordered the field's metal from sci toy's and I never got a confirmation, usually I get an e-mail confirmation when I order things from the internet and their shopping cart was a little hokey too so I was wondering if you have ever had a prob with ordering from them. I just wanted to make sure. Thanks.
