A client of mine who is an amateur magician was describing a book/ebook he had at one point but misplaced. He can't remember the title hence my posting.

He said it was about a magician who tried to live a life of luxury (without paying for anything) for as long as possible. He thought it might have been a Derren Brown book.
It supposedly contained a lot of neat ideas and insights into human nature.

Just curious if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction?

Could you be a bit more vague?

If it's a Derren Brown book and it was an e-book, chances are it was an illegal copy.
