I'm trying to remeber the name of this trick I saw in old Tannens catalogue.

Its like a big brass bolt with threads on BOTH sides. one side of threads are bigger/fatter than other.

A brass nut that goes onto the smaller threads also fits the bigger threads (or vise versa).

Whats the name of this trick, and is it still available in the market ??

I think this was called UNIVERSAL NUT...not sure, though. I haven't noticed it being listed for sale recently.
