Henry Evans has his version of the Gypsy Thread trick in which he uses both flash thread as well as a fire resistand thread. Does anyone have a source for the fire resistant thread? Any ideas?

I found some flame retardant spray on eBay I am going to try. We shall see.

Soak your thread in a solution of alum and water.
