Some of my favorites that pack flat and play strong would be:

Dream Bags
Russian Rings
Linking Rings
Life Savors
Professor's Nightmare

I have found that I get a great reaction with:
Pet Store Pranks
The lolly pop trick
Silk blow tube , even thought it is not a pack flat trick
Rabbit in the hat silk set
The flower wallet

You can't get much flatter than silks. There are many great silk effects for all ages. Silks look much larger than they really are and they are colorful. Ropes are another great option.

One of my favorite small props is Fraidy Cat Rabbit. I actually have and prefer Scaredy Cat Rabbit. It is a great effect for kids.

I'm looking to add some new tricks to my show. I use a VERY compact act, as I sometimes do 4-5 shows a day on weekends, so I need some very compact, but hard hitting tricks for kids 4-10.

Any ideas?

hammer!

Sound like you already have a winner show (4 to 5 shows on a weekend!) why change it?
