A Dream of Aces and Aces In Their Faces are different effects.
A Dream of Aces is a video/booklet combination; Aces In Their Faces comes in a booklet as well as video format. Lastly, Michael Ammar teaches Macdonald's Aces (which is similar to Dream of Aces) on one of his videos (volume 2). These are good sources; I'm sure there are others. Brian |

I can not stress enough that these are different tricks. I have used both and have found Dream of Aces to be much more successful. It get a great great response when performed correctly. You can see the Dream of Aces at http://www.flommagic.com/justin/aces/
You can also see Aces in their Faces at http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=384 Hope this helps! Justin |

They are very different and they are both not the tricks DC did (as the ads depict).
There are quite a few ungimmicked Ace Assemblies but they are not as clean as the gimmicked ones. They can be found on Ammar's ETMCM as well as books on card magic. All the best, Logan

A good ungimmicked "Ace Assembly" I think is Darwin Ortiz's Jazz Aces. I must admit that I do too have the gimmicked cards, and the "Dream of Aces" video, and you are right, the gimmicked versions are much cleaner. Also David Regal's "Down Under Ace Production" is a good "no moves" ace assemble that's relatively easy to do, thanks, Ed, (Eddini).

The more versions of Ace assembly I know, the more simple one I would like to use.
My vote to Gary Ouellet's 'Dream of Aces', you can see the performance by Café member, Justin Flom. I mentioned in other threads that his performance is excellent and I learned a lot from it!
