I've come across a book that I can't find any info on. It's a bound edition of the first 16 issues of invocation, published by Tony Raven. This is not the Kaufman reprint, although I do have this set for sale here on the Café. Nor is it the green covered set of 4 books published by Tony Andruzzi. The book is a black hardback with Invocation in gold foil.

Any info would be appreciated.

Jeff,

It sounds like someone had these issues bound up, just like you or I might have some issues of Genii or Magic bound up by our local bookbinder. In other words, it's probably nothing special and certainly not an "edition" per se.

I used to have something similar to this, I think.

Jeff, is this a smaller than normal format?

Tony Andruzzi put out the bound collection of Invocation in 1985. It is actually a reproduction as the format is smaller than the actual magazine. I think its 5 and a half by 8 and a half inches. I actually got my copy as a Yule gift from Ye Mage himself in 1988. Sure would like to see a book on his life story and contributions to the Art.
