Anybody else have trouble with IT clean up...after "floating" the item how can you ditch the IT to hand the item out for inspection

It would all depend on what your floating and how it is attached.

If you want to hand it out afterward, just take your time, talk a little (misdirection) while getting it ready and then hand it out for examination.

Don't feel like you have to rush to get things in a spectators hand.

I agree with Mark. Just be casual with your actions and take your time to do the disposal. No one knows you have the IT. Why hurry?
