Hi everybody,

Could anybody tell me how long it take before the slush powder reacts and for how long the final result stays ?
Other request : Is it hard to clean up the used glass after the show ?
Thanks for your help.
May all your days be magical

It only takes seconds to react and the results will last for days! Just test it out first before using it.

Also, be careful of the type of container used. If the inside is slick / smooth, then it might not hold very well when you turn it upside down, the "stuff" it might slide out.

As for clean-up, just shake the "stuff" into a trash can and rinse out the container that was used. It's no big deal.

You can microwave the container an reuse the powder if you are on a budget..Howard

Mrrunge is right about the surface. I made that mistake once. It is literally seconds to set up. I use styrofoam cups, rough enough on the inside, cheap to throw away, something others consider "normal" props, nothing special.

It is used in gardening .You add it to the the soil to retain water. It comes in tiny little balls which if you want you can crush to a powder. You will laugh at what a pound cost...Don't ask me about a free substiutute for LYCOPODIMUN POWDER i.e DRAGONS BREATH ha ha ..Cordially,Howard

And right there next to the sodium polyacrylate, is polyacrylamide polymer, aka "ghost cyrstals," which make for a cheaper (and terrific) "ice from water" effect!

Thanks for the tip on that wonderful site, Frank. A fun place to explore, too.
