Has anyone ever made an ecosphere at home - a single, self contained, ecosystem?
There's usually a plant, some rocks, algae, perhaps a withering plant, and some tiny sea creatures. The capped off container manages to thrive for years on end - provided the ecosphere rests in the sun. The traditional orb and egg shaped ecospheres take up too much desk space, so I thought, why not put one inside a beer bottle. Anyone have some good ecosphere recipes? Derek Merdinyan |
