A word of advice....be careful of Jellie Bellies...they sneak up on you.

For those of you who don't know, Jellie Bellies are the worlds best gourmet jelly bean. They come in literally dozens of scrumptious fruit flavors....

I had just got back from making my weekly plasma donation at the Bio Life center.. Thirty five bucks in cash was now mine as my reward.

I stopped in the store, planning to pick up a few Jellie Bellies, not only for myself, but to share with folks at work during break. (Hey, I don't smoke, so I gotta have at least ONE vice.

Anyways, they were in beautiful clear acrylic dispensers, so I figured I'll just take a FEW of each to make a nice variety.

Make a long story short, I went to the register, and the clerk made with the ring-a-ling-ding.....THIRTY FIVE BUCKS!!!!!!!

Holy crap!

And it was just a LITTLE tiny bit of each flavor! I'm
gonna be having a sugar high for the next three months!

D'oh!!

I go the the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield California and they sell their mis-shaped and stuck together beans for a couple bucks for a large bag. So neener neener.

My favorite addiction, when I can get hold of them, are the Robins Eggs candies that are sold around this time of year, mainly for easter. I'll buy a big bag of them and just eat like crazy. Good thing it's seasonal or I and my teeth would be in real trouble! Smile

I thought they were called "Jelly Has-Beans"
Never criticize someone else until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Then, when you do criticize them, you will be a mile away from them and you will have their shoes.

Whenever I go to the Reagan Library I always buy a bag. Ronald Reagan loved them and if they were good enough for him, they are good enough for me.

Just tried my first bag of Jelly Bellies a couple days ago and they were GREAT! Now I understand what all the fuss is about. And yes, they are expensive.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get them in bulk?

Meijer bulk food areas frequently carry them sorted by flavor.
Buttered Popcorn, S'more and any of the soda flavors...
Absolutely the best.

That's where I go..Meijer. of course if there is no Meijer in your area, you could look up their website and email them, and I'm sure they would be happy to assist you.

I only used the word "belly flops" because the pamphlet that came with the JB's said that's the word they use at the factory.

Yes, thank you Doug. So check with the factory in Fairfield California, might have 'em elsewhere as well.
