Hi Mats,

Do you mean Len Belcher? If so, Len Belcher was a superb British magician and inventor of the 50s and 60s. He was a primary school headmaster who invented some wonderful magic effects published in many magazines especially Abra. He was also responsible for an excellent book entitled "The Best of Belcher". This book, published by the Supreme Magic Co. sadly long gone,I believe contains some of the best all round magical effects and ideas that could easily be adapted. Whether you perform for children, close-up, platform or stage, there is something in there for you. There are also some great ideas for constructing magic tables, good servicable magic! Unlike many books that are published today, this one is full of practical stuff that you can use. I bought my copy from Supreme, more years ago than I care to remember. I treasure it. If you are considering purchasing a copy, and I thoroughly recommend it, I remember seeing one for sale on http://www.abebooks.com some time ago. They come up for sale every so often, so keep you eyes peeled!

Hope this helps.
