Hey guys I am planning on building a table and am wondering is "the table book" a good place to start? I have a little wood working experience but have almost every tool in the shop avaliable to me.

Also if you have any good books that would be perfect for me please put a link.

"The Table Book" is a great place to start. With that knowledge at your disposal, you will eventually want to design a table that is tailored specifically for your act. If you're like me, you may end up with several tables, each fulfilling a distinct purpose. Smile

I got the table books (1+2) at an auction... I think its the best surprise I ever got, since those were in a "lot" box and I didn't know I was getting them...

Great designs of all types, good inspiration, I highly reccomend them.

Contact Magic, Inc. at http://www.magicinc.net.

Their website shows both 1 and 2 ($15.00 each).

Use their advanced search and type in Table Book under "Exact phrase".
