Johnnymystic, another member here, had a great idea of using a tall, folding directors chair for a table base. Removing the armrest and back supports and add your table top. I’m sure he wont mind me sharing with you here.
Our friends don't have to agree with me about everything and some that I hold very dear don't have to agree about anything, except where we are going to meet them for dinner.

I use a stool found in a hunters' supply store that is basically a folding chair with no arms or back attached when I'm out in the woods taking pictures. I'm sure it would work for a table stand too. I think you could find one at any reasonably well stocked sporting goods store.
