I've seen their product.. I 've used it.. it REALLY does what it says it does..

Serious and home shop builders who can afford their stuff should have some on hand at all times!! The FX sheeting is AMAZING!!

Makeupguy,

What applications have you used it on? Which of those applications produced the best results? How does this compare to other faux finishes?

40$ a can, it better look like chrome.

I agree with their propaganda though, that chrome stuff with the nice chrome cap is a ripoff, you may as well just buy silver.

Its a bit more reflective, but nothing like they try to make you beleive from the caps... I've used it a great deal and never been really happy with the results.

For my next project, I may give that killer chrome a try, thanks for the link!

AS long as your surface is smooth.. and I MEAN SMOOTH.. you reaaly do get a mirror finish..

and it really is $40 per can for teh chrome... you also need a black undercoat for it..

The best application is INSIDE clear plastic. you can see the video on their site tha shows spraying the inside of cell phone covers.. and it really does come out chrome.

They have a mannquin in the lobby of their showroom sprayed with the paint.. to show you that it's not just silver.. it really does come out chrome.

It's toxic as hell.. it's made for autofinishes more than anything.. a spray booth is HIGHLY recommended..

It's not cheap.. but if you have a specific use or some $ for R&D.. it's totally teh BEST stuff.
