I'm curious about the "Clue" themed trick on Harlan's Premium Blend Vol. 3. What's the effect? Have you ever used it? How do you feel about it?

It's ok. To be honest I checked it out because I have a personal signature piece with CLUE pieces and I wanted to see how it compares. I liked mine better, of course.
I don't like "counting" magic. I can never present them as anything other than a mathmatical oddity. To me, that's how Harlan's version comes across. It seems long, involved, and the magic is kind of weak. Of course I'm biased.
My version was published once by Lee Earle in Syzygy vol 1. It's availible sometimes. Usually used. (It's in Volume one of the BOOK, not the "Best Of" DVDs)
