It was a breakthrough in linking card effects at the time. It gives you the ability to hand out a genuinely linked card. The handling is a little finicky but doable. The tape does a good job of explaining the effect, handling and gaff construction though production values are spare. It's time consuming to construct the gaff so it makes a better one-off rather than a repeatable trick. I paid $60 for mine but I think I saw one on sale for $20 which is more like it's worth.

I think there are better ways of doing this. AoA has some good thinking on this plot.

Yesterday I did receive the dvd I ordered. But the dvd case had no wrapping or seal around it. When I put the dvd in the player a message reads on the tv "incorrect disc." It looks like it been copied/burned. I have a strong feeling someone at the magic shop tried to make a copy of it, and kept the original. Does the dvd have a white cover on it?

I also received a different dvd dealing with money magic. That dvd was wrapped in plastic. It plays good.

I prefer the original version: The Complete Card Linking booklet by Sixten Beme.
This is a very strong effect and its extremely visual...

I love to use the one card link, but I just hate the per-work!
