Actually, it was kind of sad! The kid could not wait to get this trick on You Tube. Can spin a card between his fingers but can't get a card into a gimmick or handle a deck. Sad, sad! Probably should spend his allowance on comic books.

Under-rehearsed and poorly executed but I don't feel there was any exposure here as it was really hard to see what was supposed to be happening. Why did he return the cards to the case, only to take them straight back out again? Bizarre!!

Alright, alright...he's eleven! Cut him some slack. Should he put it on the world wide web? No!
But how many of us at eleven would learn or buy something (and out of excitement) run out that day and show it to a friend or relative, even though it sucked. Many of our friends these days are online friends, maybe that's the only friends he has? Anyway I hope he doesn't find this thread but I am going to write him and encourage him. I will subtlely (sp?) suggest that he not put his practice vids on YT, but that we would like to see his finished product. C'mon guys...magi's helping magi's, right? |
