Why would the audience look uncomfortable if the dove looks hurt. After you cut him in 3 you put him back togther and they see he is ok. If I could figure out how to use it I would use it in every show.
Dove Boy how did you get the dove to one side to cut it in half when you did it?
Or maybe you were using a differnt one then I have.
Tips would be helpfull

Anybody own & use the ZigZag Dove trick? I interested to hear from anyone that uses it as to their thoughts on it.

Anyone else have success with this effect?

Mike I'm still waiting on mine to be finished and delivered. I'll update this thread at that time. Suppose to be this week.

I have this, but do not think it's a playable mini-illusion. The box is a little too long for the dove and in order for this to work, you have to shove the dove all the way to one end.

The dissecting of the dove is not impressive either, plus you can see the dove through the slots. It's also a fragile prop, making transportation difficult.

I also have the Dove Origami Surprise Box, and that one is a lot more impressive and baffling--and better built.

Where can this be purchased?

I got it used, but I think Tora Magic sells it, he even has a demo video. Try googling it.

I saw that one, but don't know if it is an imitation or not.
