What size and type diabolo would you recommend for a beginner? Thanks, Philip

I think bigger is better for a beginner. I'd go with a soft rubber one from Henry's. Or one of those big Renegades.

I agree the larger size and weight does make it easier to handle. Babash (SP) makes a good Diabolo, too. Henry's has a hard plastic beach diabolo that is inexpensive and a little lighter; however it's a good beginner's diabolo.

I love the diabolo folies videos, and there is a website posted here too...Read all of the posts!

I have a couple of tiny diabolos that are much harder to keep the spin for tricks.

Once I get a 5 inch Henry's Circus, am I going to want to get a 4 inch one later though? Thanks

I don't use my smaller diablos anymore. Having played with 2" on up, 5" is best, I think.

But remember, the diablo is a toy, a very fun toy. You will want the whole set!! Smile
