I wonder if anyone can tell me the name of the plastic type material used to make Kandu comedy carton and the box for the rope routine I want to make a lid for my carton and construct another prop and I think the material looks easy to work with

Sorry to say, I'm not familiar with the Kandu carton but, if it is a corrugated plastic material, it is called "Coroplast", and can be found at any sign shop pretty inexpensively.

I think it's made of PVC, which, like amosmc said, be easy to find at any sign shop. Another possibility is sheet styrene (a.k.a. plasticard in the UK), avaliable at hobby shops everywhere.

I do not think it is PVC it cuts a lot easier than that and I have worked with plexi card many times this is thicker about 1/8th to 1/4 " thick the colour goes all the way through, though it is dead easy to cut it does not sahtter or crack like pvc

no it is not corrugated I have seen large stores with there signs made from this

Sounds sort of like polystyrene (styrene) although I haven't seen any large store signs made with it. It is easy to cut and work. A line can be scored with a scribing tool or the back of a knife blade, and the material can be snapped along the line. It can be sanded easily and glued with liquid model cement.

Hobby shops carry styrene material by Evergreen Scale Models and Plastruct, but I don't know that I've ever seen it except in white, grey, and clear.

Hi, this comes at least in red black and white as I have props made if these colours I do not think it is polystrene

Have you tried contacting the makers of kandu knot? by the why that is a great prop! the laughter from that thing is unbelevable!
