I did this a couple of times when I was starting out and didn't really get any decent reactions for it.
I recently saw a video clip of Paul Daniels doing it and of course Daniels made it look like a miracle.
As I was watching it I had an idea for my own routine and have started doing the trick again but now I get Crazy reactions.
Do any of you do it?

I think this sort of thing is all presentation. For me it's a transition effect...whetting the appetite and setting the stage for something more interesting and impressive.
