I am looking for the Aronson Stack Quizzer program to help learn the stack. It was listed at all magic guide new sites at one time. I tried to download it but I keep getting 404 error message. Simon Aronson has a version of it on his site

and Mr. Aronson told me by e-mail that there is an even newer version with random selection. I have tried contacting the creator and no answer. Does anyone have this and could send it to me as an e-mail attachment. I have another version by someone else but this one has graphics and I would really like to have it.

I thought about creating a computer program to help learn the stack but I ended up simply writing the stack number in big bold symbols on the back of it's card. I really think this is a better way to learn since you will actually look at the face of the card and then check the back to see if you predicted the proper number and vice versa.



I suppose if the program shows you a picture of the card it achieves the same effect but why bother. When you really use the memorized deck, you'll be looking at real cards. Why not practice with real cards?

I downloaded the stack quizzer from Mr Mark Harris` site sometime ago; it worked fine for a good while, but since I have had a look at Simon’s site. It no longer works quoting a run time error `372`, which is a problem within the VB code.

I have tried updating the necessary components, and contacting Mark Harris all to no avail.

If anyone does sort it out, I would appreciate a nudge in the right direction. Thanks

I think it would be easier to make flash cards out of an old deck. That way you don't need to be near the computer. Just number the back of the cards of the stack deck and go off that way. But I guess it's really up to you.

I learned the stack using the flash card method. See page 123 of Michael Close's "Workers Vol 5."

I carry the deck with me everywhere and can practice anywhere, anytime
