Hey Thanks for the vote for JoDan link and I prefer it over all others because this is the one I have created and I like it. But I would have to disagree with vinni here. the fact that it's displayed in one hand does not make it any stonger of an effect. but to each his own!!

Joe if one uses both effects in conjunction then it will really be a very strong effect.....

just because I said one was stronger than the other does not mean I dislike jo dan link.
I use the bands all the time and speaking from experience I get the best reactions from missing link this is all I meant.

But Vinny
Nobody does Chris Kenner's "missing link" with the one handed display but you. That move would even impress Chris.

Ted is there a video clip of the miracle for mortals.....
I would have to see it for my self....
also is this a gimmicked or non goimmed effect...
vinny

I have not been here long, but I know better than to leave the Godfather's questions unanswered! The only video clip I have seen is on the DVD itself, but it is non gimmicked and very easy for a beginner to do...

Hey xububba
Let me be the first to welcome you to the magic Café. Vinny is a wealth of valuable information for coins, cards, ring, rope, and of course rubber bands. He is also about to release his third (I think) DVD.

So this "miracle of mortals" it's ungimmicked, easy to do, but is it any good. I try to pay attention to all the rubber band stuff I can, so please tell us all about it.
HAVE FUN

Al,

I think it is good, but I am a noob, so I don't want to make any great claims, he explains it as an improvement on what Ammar did on what of his videos, by doing some half moves, which he credits, but I can't recall to whom. But you show two rubber bands between your hands, strum with your thumbs a couple of times, and viola (or is it tada?) they are linked, you then turn it vertically, and separate them just as simply. All I know is my kids really liked it. Geoff has wonderful effects on both of these dvd's and I would recommend them to anyone!

Geoff williams on miracles for mortals has a linking get ready that there is no move and I neleive it is the most important improvement in this magic in a long time

Exactly. The linking trick Geoff Williams does is pretty old and known. But he improved the set-up so there is nothing to do anymore. It pretty much set-up itself...
Based on the Klause "half-moves" idea...

Goeffs deal is its not the linking that's special its the get ready for the linking....geoff has brillantly made it a moveless move
