You could join an organization such as IBM here http://www.magician.org and you get the linking ring magazine when you join.
You could also join SAM. Those are the two main organizations. Hope this helps

If you're gonna join one org. I'd go with the SAM. The new MUM magazine is great.

There also is the TAOM - Texas Association of Magicians. You can look them up on the Internet. A visit to a magic shop will also turn up contact information.
