This is great news. Judging from his previously released material, Scott is very talented. When will this be out?

Anybody know where I can purchase Richard Sanders fiber optics in the U.S.?

I carry this DVD on my website.
As stated by someone elses, other great routines (to date):
daryl
bedwell
haydn
If you're a beginner you could even try one of the routines from
Terry Herbert's or Dan Garrett's kidshow DVDs. Very nice, easy and short.

The tabary routine put me to sleep but then again, I could have been extra tired
at the time.

It also sounds like Scott's routine will be great. Good news.

The Tabary routine contains a lot of great ideas but put me to sleep as well (and I've seen a number of pros perform it live including Tabary himself). It's way too long in my opinion.

I'd suggest purchasing the Sanders DVD from Frank--the DVD is very good (although I'd modify the routine to better suit me) and Frank's a pleasure to deal with.

Hey Larry,

I just figured out how to discribe my upcoming rope routine...

Scott,

When I saw your routine, that was my thought! In my opinion, your routine is magical eye candy just like Tabary's routine but yours is more to-the-point (and cleaner looking) and as a result more hard hitting.

I've been wanting to add a rope routine to my repertoire for quite some time, but I haven't found anything that suits me straight "out of the box," and frankly I haven't been motivated to take what I consider to be the good parts of existing routines and put them together to create a routine that suits me. I have a feeling that your routine is going to fit me like a glove with no changes! I'm really looking forward to this, and that's no red bull!

I don't drink red bull but it still sounds great.

Scott, are you dancing in your Avatar?

By the way, I love your Dean's Box routine.
I bought my you-know-what from you-know-where and right now it's inside
my you-know-what with the ropes and the ring too and the extra you-know-what.

I can't wait to add this to my act.

Yea Frank, Scott really inspired me to get a you-know-what. Although I don't have a Dean's Box I still love watching the explanation because it looks so cool.

My wife gives me 1/5 of that you-know-what every time I see her.

Scott's idea is very good.

I know this post has come and gone, but thought I'd try and kick start it. I'm putting togethor a whole new show, I had a basco stage show for about 3years, and it's beginning to get tired. I was going to perform fibre optics, can anyone provide me with any more news on the release date, I'm rushing as I've got some preview performances at the end of March, and I'd like to have everything in there.
Cheers Guys

Hi Larry,

There is a rope thing in the hopper and it should be out soon....just putting the finishing touches on it right now.

I'm keeping it "close to the vest" until Kohler ties up a few loose ends.
(pun intended)

With Larry Davidson's alert and Scott Alexander's reputation for sterling magic, it looks like I'm about to get roped in on this one.

No one ever mentioned Flip's dvd on ropes... this dvd although old, has a ton of stuff that you could use and chain together into a routine...

Yet another vote for Fiber Optics. I never wanted to do rope magic until I saw this DVD. Your set for strolling, table hopping, parlour or stage. No set up, automatic reset, no scissors, all examinable and visual magic. You can't go wrong.
