It is the best magic convention in the calendar. Thanks and well done to the organisers for a fun time!

Highlights:

Kostya Kimlat's excellent card magic (lecture and performances).
Derren Brown's interview and question-and-answer session.
Martin Eisle's winning performance in the close-up competition.
The high quality (yet again) of the gala show (every act was outstanding).
My card trick in the bar, which shocked the whole of the ground floor into silence Smile

Lowlights:

The 4 hour length of close-up competition, of which only 1 hour was worth watching.
The lack of breaks between events.
The cost of breakfast at the Novotel.
Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking.

Hi folks

I posted reviews of both the Convention and the Close Up Competition on my blog page which you can find at thecardman's blog.

Enjoy!
