I am interested in making a very small hole through a fakini 2" ball. The is for a L*** ball ala Cellini. Has anyone done this before? I am thinking of using my dremel with a very fine bit.

Thank you, Toonomads. I have bought some of the TaylorMade l**p balls and they are excellent. However, I was wanting to apply the same principle to a Fakini ball.

Rubber material of any type is not known for drilling well. You might want to consider heating a pointed steel rod to a high temp and pushing through. Even if it is a little larger than yo need you could "caulk" around it with a clear or white slicone depending on color. I'm not saying drilling won't work but based on other experiences it seems problematic.

Report back to us on how it goes!

Don't do it! The maker of Fakini balls told me that a loop will quickly cut through the silicone. He has made a few long ago by inserting a tiny metal tube in the ball, but he said that it is much better to use a different kind of ball....like wood.

Thank you Glenn, If Frank said not to do it for that reason, I won't.

Thank yopu also Glenn. That does make sense as I would think it would cut into the ball. Another loop ball of matching color would probably work better and no one would be the wiser from a stage setting.
