Hey There,
The Bowling Ball briefcase, are there any plans out there to build your own, or do you have to purchase it made? James

Yes, I made one too, no plans. I don't know how you would get the plans though...

I think Andrew Mayne had this in his first illusion book called "Solo X". But he produces a TV instead of the bowling ball

I made my first one without any plans or without even been told the secret. I got the thought of how it could be done while driving down the road, pulled into a thrift store, and five bucks later had a bowling ball AND a briefcase. I still have the prop.
Maybe the original poster does not know the method, or enough of it to build a working model.

Is the 'Bowling Ball from Briefcase' different from the 'Basket Ball from Briefcase'?

While generally similar, there are modified methods for all of them. You would modify for a goldfish bowl, too. Some versions are designed to be visually better, i.e. hiding the gaff better at various stages in the routine. One of the basketball versions, "Double Dribble" is an entirely different method.

The methods of "basketball" and "bowling ball" is entirely different. You may use the " bowling ball production" method for producing the basketballs. But to the best of my knowledge the construction of the cases is the main difference.
I agree that anybody can build a case for "bowling ball" production.

Michael that's what I was thinking of "Double Dribble".
Is there any performance video of the production briefcase in action. I have an idea of how it work but have not seen it performed. |
