I am inclined to agree with CardConjurer here. This thread is not really serving any purpose and, if anything, would annoy people who like Handlordz, which doesn't solve anything, so let's let this thread fade away.

No, but his post was funny! Obviously he just babelfished the phrase, "Die thread Die" into German, French, Italian and Spanish. I don't know the last three languages, but the German translation had me laughing out loud.

As for whether threads should die because they might hurt people's feelings...well, I guess those of you under the age of 20 might have thinner skin than us leather-buttocked types. I could be married to De'vo and would still not find the thread offensive.

As for letting threads die because nothing else important is being said, I would have to agree that this thread is a lost cause.

As for people who like to go around policing threads to determine whether they should be stopped or not, I would say, in my best Bill Cosby voice, "Well whooo made you the one to go around bein' the big internet forum sherriff of the house?"

As an observer of bizarre human behavior, I am fascinated by threads which refuse to die. Even when I'm part of the problem.

Respectfully,
Gruss,

Andy,

That would be "Susanne".

My wife.

(She's German. And she is why I am unhinged.)
