Hi!
I heard this on BBC Radio 4 several years ago, and it related to musicians. However, I think it applies just as equally to magicians (and pretty much anyone else too). Unfortunately, I did not catch the name of the man who said it, so if anyone knows who did say it, then please let me know! "An amateur practices until he gets it right. A professional practices until he can't get it wrong"
If you put an infinite number of apes in front of an infinite number of computers, you get a pretty good idea of what internet chat rooms can be like

Nice quote! Although I'm not professional I like the sound of it, it is also probably the reason why I am an amateur anyway!
