Shoot Ogawa makes the Ninja Rings look so simple! But man, holding the rings in the correct fashion is pretty difficult. Still, I'm digging the DVD.

Anyone here have Shoot's suggested method down?
There she was, a dodgy old prune in a tiara, rushing at me waving a sword. Do all knights suffer this whilst being made?

I've been doing the routine for awhile now and I have it down well. If you have any questions you can PM me.

I removed all the table stuff.
I let the spectator hold the rings much sooner in the effect.
I practiced it quite a bit and then put it away for a few months.
When I brought it back out, I was about a week away from comfortable.
Amazing how you learn by taking a rest, sometimes.

I love it.
A fantastic effect for just about any but the largest of shows.
In fact, I hear Ogawa does it in the Parlor room at the castle. That's a pretty big venue for those small rings. Let's see. How many fit in there...
There's always about 50 drunk people among everybody else packed into that room, so... that makes 52 people altogether.
Man I love that place!

Mmmmm-yup! While I've never seen Shoot in the close-up parlor, I have been one of the drunks in the room!

I love the Castle! It's like a Harry Potter movie... on liquor! Smile

I agree. This is not one you can master while the wife is on the phone. When you tackle this one, bring your lunch! It's going to take a while.

But I love to watch the man work! (He's good at coins too!)
